my Story
I began running in my 20s as a warm up to working out at the gym. Started on a treadmill just 10-20 min before lifting.
I then began to run more and more outside. Slowly at first! Picking an object like a stop sign and running to it then walking, then running again until I could run for miles. Over the years I have gained experience in 5k distance up to Ultra Marathons.
I am now an RRCA Certified Level 1 Adult Distance Running Coach.
I have run through 4 pregnancies, 4 C-sections and 20 years of mommy hood lol. Running has centered me though all the ups and downs in my life and keeps me grounded. As a 20ish year old it was to stay in shape physically.
As I matured it was more for mental health! Now it is more spiritual in nature especially on trail which is my favorite place to run. Running manages stress and creates space for intellectual and spiritual growth in my life.
My Mission
To create a space for play in the lives of individuals that will enhance their health in all areas of life through running towards a goal that will promote a healthy lifestyle.
